- Contacts with Industry and Foreign Trade Ministry and its several bodies in order to defense the bureaucracy reduction in the import process;
- Support to Internal Revenue’s work in adopting supervision measurements, aiming to suppress fraudulent under-invoicing in the nationalization process;
- Along with the Trade and Services Department, it participates in the Permanent Forum of Micro and Small Textile Industry Companies for the development of this sector;
- As speaker along with the Abit (Textile Industry Brazilian Association) for the national industry competitiveness improvement, in collaboration with the IDV (Institute of the Retail Development);
- Development of a Social Responsibility Stamp for industry suppliers in order to make them observe aspects connected to the social responsibility and corporative governance;
- Partnership with Ethos Institute, in actions both of social responsibility and corporate governance;
- Monitoring and propagation of textile segment data by monthly statistic data, obtained from the IEMI (Studies Institute and Industrial Market);
- Creation of work groups which make possible the development of the sector and associated companies in accordance to new and modern practices;
- Participation in workshops and conferences connected to the textile chain development;
- Support on the implementation of International Agreements and National Legislation in customs area: cooperation with governmental and non-governmental entities to establish a politic of Customs Valuation, Import Licensing etc.
